interested in this Career? What led you to start modeling? My name is Richard Evans. I'm from Baltimore, MD. I'm a artist, involved in the National Art Program at John Hopkins. I want to work as a model because its something I can do well at. Being really into fashion since 2010 got
me interested and led me to wanting to become a model. The high fashion such as
Versace, Maison Martin Margiela, Balmain. and the Vintage wear from Taz
Arnold got me very interested.
2.What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progress in this
field? My life goal is to be Successful. To be feature in GQ Magazine would be a great accomplishment. My goal is to be a working model. I see myself progressing to big things. Do runway modeling, paint, catalogue, and television commercials.
3. What's one thing few people know about you? I enjoy listening to classic r&b music. Like Jodeci, Isley Brothers, Aaron Hall, Dru Hill, Mint Condition, Musiq Soulchild, El Dabarge,
Maxwell, Tevin Campbell, Gerald & Eddie Lavert, Silk. I can go on and on. It puts you at a relaxing state.
4. What makes you special? I'm a very considerate and caring person. The old saying put
your self in their shoes, I do that a lot to carefully deal with every situation I face.
5. What is your Image? How do you want people to see you? Young: casanova, debonair, a fine specimen. I've been told I remind them of Boris Kodjoe or Rudy Gay. I don't think I look anything like them.

The kind role I would want to do the most would be to play a student athlete. Movies like
"Glory Road", "Coach Carter", "Sunset Park", "Hurricane Season", "Friday Night Lights" etc.
7. Who is your role model or ideal in acting industry? My role models/ideal actors would be Denzel Washington and Idris Elba.

- practice and study the craft
-when in character try not to be so self-conscious
-be patient
9. How will you handle your popularity? I would handle my popularity like I've always done, stay true to myself. Handle every situation with grace and respect. Remain humble.
10. When did you decide to become an artist? I didn't really decide to become an artist. It was something I was doing since I was 3 and doing very well at a young age. A God gifted talent. In school I was drawing poster for my teachers for artwork to display in the classroom or though out the school. Second grade my work was displayed at a Baltimore museum. High school my work was in a art magazine.
11. Where do you get your ideas? I get my idea from
everything. It could be something I see in a magazine, something I hear when I'm listening to music or just references from other great artist. I would take their idea make it my own.
12. What artist or artists inspired you? A Few artist that inspire me are Jean-Michel Basquiat, Kaws, Kid Zoom, Ron English, Meggs, Chris Brown, Swizz Beatz, Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso and all the renaissance artist.
13. Is there symbolic imagery in your work? Yes there is imagery in my work. That's what makes art interesting. Their is a message and story with in every painting or drawing that give you some type of insight of what was going on with the artist or his/her state of mind.
